The Davao Blogspace is the home of all blogs in, of, about, related to Davao City and her people. It is the home of Davaoeño bloggers on the Web. The purpose of the Blogspace is to create a unified space for all such blogs, and to provide Davao blogging with a strong presence on the Internet. The Blogspace was created by Blogie Robillo in February 2007, with the aim of creating an online community of Davao bloggers.
The Davao Blogspace’s “davao blog ako!” badge was designed by Ray Rubio of Cubepixels Design Studio. The logo and header were designed by Eric Clark Su. His definition of the logo goes like this: Callout – symbolizes the blogosphere. Keyboard keys – represents bloggers and their activities online; arranged to form the letter ‘D’ to convey how bloggers collectively open up new perspectives into the wonderful city of Davao. Durian – representative of the Davao culture.
